About PowerStep

PowerStep® founder and podiatrist Dr. Les Appel recognized the need for affordable orthotics with a custom feel that you can get without a prescription. Upon seeing a pattern in the custom orthotics he prescribed to his patients, Dr. Appel used his knowledge of the foot anatomy and his passion for running to create the first PowerStep® insoles.
